About the Company

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager based in London, UK on behalf of our Italian client: a company leader in the distribution of electronic components.

About the Job

Key Activities and Responsabilities:

• Managing B2B sales, identifying potential new customers and new business opportunities, in compliance with the Italian HQ’s commonly shared commercial strategies;
• Managing existing portfolio for UK;
• Developing and increasing sales of new products, keeping contact with Clients’ Purchasing and Technical depts;
• Frequently visiting clients’ sites and industry fairs (UK, Europe, USA sometimes);
• Identifying new potential suppliers.

About the Candidate

Key Skills Required:

• MSc degree in Electronic Engineering;
• around 5 years of experience in sales activities; past technical experience as Electronic Hardware Designer will be considered a plus;
• Specific knowledge in Space electronics and/or same or similar role in the electronic and electromechanical components industry;
• High travelling availability throughout UK;
• English – mother-tongue level;
• Good communication and relational skills;
• Fast-learning skills, engagement and problem-solving attitude.


• Salary: 54,000 £ gross / year (negotiable)
